Biography
Professor Elhadi H. Aburawi is Senior Consultant Paediatric Cardiologist at College of Medicine & Health Sciences, UAE University and Al Ain Hospital. He holds the Chair of the Continuing Medical Education and Continuing Professional Development for UAE University. Prof. Aburawi has done his Residency in Dublin and completed his PhD and postdoc. in Lund University, Sweden. He is a fellow of the Royal College of Ireland, London, and American College of Cardiology. Professor Aburawi research interests are wide and include all aspects in pediatric cardiology; both congenital and acquired and Cardio-vascualr Disease Risk Factors in Children. Other research interests are Coronary Blood Flow in Congenital Heart Disease, Endothelial Function, and Genetics in Congenital Heart Disease and arrhythmias. He has published more than 40 papers in peer reviewed journals and has been serving as an associated editor and editorial board member of few Journals with reputation.
